If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a thousand pictures of the cabin should be worth a few words. Whaaaaaat? LOL. I thought the best way to share the cabin with you, would be in pictures.
Let’s get this cabin AKA bunkie partayyyyy started…
The cabin was available for rent during the 2016 summer months, alongside the treehouse retreat. They were rented together, with shared use of the pool… PS. the pool is built in an old stone barn foundation. It only took 34807340957430543 hours to make that dream come true. So worth it.
We originally built the cabin as a sista to the treehouse rental. We found that many people loved the treehouse but wanted to come back with friends and family. The extra space of the cabin made that happen!
In the spring, it started to take shape and the work in progress finally grew some green stuff around it…
Of course, every treehouse and cabin need a toity. Hellooooo…. meet the LaTREEn…
There’s something about painting a cabin all white. White brings staggering simplicity to a space. We used Simply White from Benjamin Moore.
As much as I adore white, I love my pops of colour too. The white is a perfect blank canvas to start with..
I added pops of colour with throw pillows from Tonic Living! My faves pictured here are pink lux velvet and honeycomb velvet spa.
Did someone say, “step right up to the bar”? Okay. Twist our rubber arms.
Let’s talk cabin kitchen-ness…. We used reclaimed/recycled windows from Fieldstone windows and doors!….and the faucet (pictured below) is this one from Delta Faucet Canada. LOVE.
It’s time to say toot-a-loo. Apologizing in advance for saying toot-a-loo. haha.
Big love and happy trails…. cabin trails… MWAH!
