We have a main squeeze. ETSY. We were selected to be a guest editors of ✨The Etsy Edit ✨and are sharing our allllll time faves here. Get ready.
So good. So so so so good.
Years ago, we discovered Etsy and have never looked back. We needed so many things for home, fashion, and crime fighting. Hey, you never know when you may need a super woman cape.
Our Etsy faves for a cozy home and life.
We are huge believers of filling your space with things you love. There’s a whole lotta love tucked in between the lines and throughout our Etsy home + style faves <— faves for a cozy home and life.
inspiring simplicity.
We feel most at home in a clean, neutral space with uncluttered surfaces, and layers of textured blankets and pillows. It all somehow provides balance. For the win.
We don’t have a lot of STUFF in our Treehouse + Cabin, but everything we have has a purpose … and brings us joy.
less house. more HOME.
We recently discovered shopevern and just love them. We have three pieces now and are def wearing these earrings all summer. Something about gold and pearl paired together has always spoken to us. It feels so timeless and delicate and something our grandmas would have loved. They are beautiful and stunning annnnnnd all the things. Because hey, you know how we roll with style…. it has to land oh sooo prettily upon thy eyes or WE ARE OVER.
These stackable necklaces quickly found a home in my collection. LOVE. I have this one, and should I admit that I have this one tooooo? Quintessential and collectable, these necklaces will follow me through all seasons. The size of the necklaces are beautifully teeny and they make me feel comfortable about life.
Keeping things super simple, we paired it all up with this soft linen dress. You’ll find me this summer sipping… picnic style … {hopefully} basking in the sun in this dreamy linen dress. Oversized light and flowy, this dress is one of those effortless pieces that just feels like HOME for the summer.
Super love it. The end forever goodbye.
Well, here’s another reason to take more naps. Hellooooo hibernation mode for those days when you yawn like it’s your day job. Truthfully, we have been obsessed with white linen duvet covers for f.o.r.e.v.er. This time, we decided to try a striped linen duvet cover for the cabin loft bed. Erhmergerdddddd. LOVE. Everyone needs one good duvet cover in their life. We can’t say enough good things about this set. It has fast become one of our faves.
O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D.
Bread Bag. I must sound like a doof, but I honestly didn’t know bread bags existed before my obsession with this no-knead bread recipe. The only bags I knew about were the ones under my eyes.
Spa Set : Usually, when I give myself an at home spa treatment…it’s just me and a bunch of lotions and creams laughing about how redonk my face looks in a magnifying mirror. Also, why have eye brows become so important? My unibrow seems to NEVER LEAVE me. It’s a constant, in these unstable times.
Here’s the thing. I’ve been using this on my face lately and super love it. It is light, airy and not too scenty scenty. Then I discovered it is massage oil. Don’t judge me, because I still super love it for my face. And this soap. So ahhhhhh. My face is suddenly oh so soft. The oil is delicate and not greasy. Unlike the french fries that I had for lunch.
BED LOVE : We always use these crisp white sheets and this time, we added this simple linen pom pom pillow on the linen covered bed and it totally softened up the look even more. ADORE. Plus, we neeeeeded this lumbar pillow because we are throw pillow hoarders. We might be throwing them all over the place right now! And by might, we mean definitely. Please don’t judge us or arm punch us. There are no official pillow rules in quarantine.
Basically tho, this duvet is still boom dig without. If you’re into pretty striped pillow case covers, they’ve got these too! Holy smokes. Stunners.
commit to comfy
We hope our words brought you a sense of love and kindness…equivalent to a super cozy bed, a well stocked liquor cabinet and toilet paper. Wait, doesn’t everyone have enough of that by now?
Wherever you may be, we hope you have a happy and beautiful day. Happiness is amazing. It’s so amazing, it doesn’t even matter if it is yours or not.

We love Etsy. We know we already told you, but it deserves to be typed out again. With no backspaces. And a few dancing emojis and extra exclamation marks!!!! Possibly a cocktail emoji in there too. And definitely an umbrella on that cocktail. Plus some throw pillows. Pillow fight!! Okay bye. Wait, Shop all of our picks on The Etsy Edit right here.
Let’s elbow bump and high five online….. and tell us your summer faves. We need these details to thrive in life. xo
Just creeping you from afar (do you call it that when it’s done in a friendly, I wish I was there for a drink and a chat, kind of way?!) so that I can get some inspiration. You make it look so easy Lynne! Any time you feel like coming west and sprinkling your magic (you know, like a young, stylish, fairy godmother) elsewhere LET ME KNOW! I’ll get the drinks ready. Stay safe xo
Hi, Lynne! Oh, hey, just wanted to tell you that Tristan did a great job on the post he handled recently. I’ve been following you guys a while, and wish you all the health and happiness this crazy world will allow (and then double it). BTW, I’m with you on the crutches – I recently had foot surgery for a real, honest-to-God old-lady bunion on my right foot. I wore too many high heels in the 80s! So I’ve been hobbling around a while, too. Little secret, though – it’s been kinda fun having my hubby wait on me! But I am starting to get restless. Guess I’ll have to stop faking it and ditch the crutches pretty soon. Seriously, though, I am in total awe of your indomitable spirit – it literally jumps off the page and inspires me to keep working on my house till I get it looking at least half as good as yours. I love reading what you write. Sending you love and happy vibes.
Sorry – I just realized Tristan is your daughter, not your son! My bad. Apologize to her for me, OK?
Love this post like I love linen…all linen, shirts, pants, dresses, tea towels and bedding accessories. I emailed for the bread recipe and I inherited the Le Creuset that I have, pure 1970’s in it’s browny browness, but it makes fabulous food (and now bread!) Enjoy the tree house, enjoy the peace, pass on the broccoli and stay safe 🙂
Hi Gillian !!
Isn’t the no-knead bread recipe sooooo fab? We super duper love it too. I moved into making no-knead sourdough bread now too, and I need to post that recipe. Holy batman, it is delish!
Your 1970’s browny browness of a Le Creuset sounds pretty remarkable! Yummmm.
I’m coming to your place, especially now that I know you’d pass on broccoli too. 🙂
Big love!
Lynne xx
I’m new here. You look remarkably preserved for 102 years old. What a fun approach to life you have. We need more goodness, joy and beauty right now. I’m going to search older posts…curious how you came to live in the treehouse.
Hi Maria!!
Welcome to the blog ! Yeah we are preserved well for being 102, it must be all the wine. haha.
Did you find the treehouse section of the blog? 🙂 It’s pretty cool beans too! We normally rent it to guests for the summer, but after a series of unfortunate events (starting with Covid) we decided to not rent this summer.
So we moved in to our own backyard cabin + treehouse. Who knew it could be so fun? Trying to find the bright light through it all. Yasssss.
Big love and welcome aboard !!

Happy 4th Craig ! Even though it took me to the 6th to reply. LOL. Hope you are safe, happy and healthy !!
Big love!!

Lynne and Tristan,
Love this post. I felt all the stress melt away. Because of the pandemic, catching up on important chores is even more fraught with stress. Taking the car in, going to the vets, and letting strangers in my home to do work. Again, thank you for this post. We have been looking for land north of us and saw a few in Grey County. You are so fortunate to have your beautiful property. I love your style. White is my favourite and have taken the plunge, and will be painting it throughout most of my house. With your help I have many ideas and stores I can use to finish it. Today, I will be looking through all your ideas and shop your house to see what I can do.
Take care of your ankle, Lynne. It is just the universe telling you to take it easy.
Hi Chris !
Thank you for your beautiful comment and lurrrve. I agree, things can be so stressful these days… who knew that looking for vegetables in a grocery aisle would be so harrowing? It’s cray, right? I mean, broccoli was already not my best friend but now I have a reason for avoiding it. LOL.
You found some land in Grey County?! That’s fantastic !!!
White paint is ahhhmazing isn’t it? Love.
Sending you all the best wishes for a happy home.
Lynne xx
