We believe that all cabins should be cozy. We created a space to sleep under the stars and amongst the trees and hope that our design style inspires you to create cozy spaces in your life too. We are inspired by slow living and timeless design. Whether you're drawn to the warmth of a fireplace or the comfort of cozy bedding, each item in the cabin tells a story of craftsmanship and care. Explore our cabin favourites and bring a piece of our cabin style into your own home, where every day can feel like a peaceful getaway.
A cabin is such a fun space to design. When we first planned it, we basically built the basics, using reclaimed barn beams, shiplap wood and reclaimed vintage windows. It is structurally engineered (not gonna lie, that process involves some stiff drinks to get through. Don't judge me. haha) Even though the space is small, it worked out to be so well planned. I swear, that was truly by accident. We used it over the summers, and just by living in it, helped to evolve it into the space it is today. You learn what works and what doesn't. My cabin faves? Exterior Edison string lights on a dimmer. The hammock swinging in the trees. The gas fireplace. Ahhhh. The bed is divine. We're obsessed with this mattress topper (we use it on all our beds.) The cabin interior is painted in Simply White OC-117 by Benjamin Moore. The exterior is Coal black by Homestead House Paint.
Gets home, takes bra off immediately. Searches the internet for inspiring ideas and cozy home finds. PS. The problem with the internet is that you can buy things in the middle of the night. I wake up and suddenly I own a new throw blanket. Or a llama. But really. I searched for 5 business days, and flipped 38 uno reverse cards and found some cabin inspo of purchases I am making for this season. You’ve got to get a glimpse of some finds currently in d'cart.
